BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND, January 08, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A fresh production of Alan Ayckbourn's Bedroom Farce can be seen at the Crescent Theatre in Birmingham in the new year.
 
Running from Saturday January 21st to Saturday January 28th at the Sheepcote Street venue, the revival of this acclaimed comedy looks set to offer a light-hearted alternative to the pantomime season.
 
Ayckbourn's play explores the relationships of four married middle-class couples over the course of 24 hours, with the action spread across three bedrooms.
 
The work has enjoyed several revivals in recent years and remains a favourite among many fans of the prolific English playwright.
 
First performed in 1975, it had its West End premiere at the National Theatre in 1977.
 
Tickets for the Crescent Theatre production can be purchased online, priced at GBP14 and GBP13 for concessions.
 
Evening performances are due to begin at 19:30 GMT, with matinee shows scheduled for 14:30 on Sunday January 22nd and Saturday January 28th. Tickets for the Sunday matinee are available for just GBP7.
