The Pattaya Rooftop Film Festival 2012 will be taking place throughout February and March and will see some of Germany's best-reviewed films screened for attendees.

PATTAYA, THAILAND, January 28, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A celebration of German cinema will be taking place in Thailand during February at the Pattaya Rooftop Film Festival 2012.
 
To be held at the dusitD2 baraquda hotel, the event is being organised in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut and the Embassy of Germany and commences on February 3rd, running until March 30th.
 
Over the course of the nine weeks, the festival will see a classic contemporary German movie screened each Friday, including international hits such as Good Bye Lenin!, Run Lola Run and The Lives of Others.
 
Other films included in the nine-strong programme include Vier Minuten, Elefantenherz, Soul Kitchen, Status Yo! and Cherry Blossoms.
 
The festival is designed to commemorate the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Germany, and will serve to help promote European culture to locals.
 
Admission to the screenings is free, with guests set to be offered a selection of drinks packages each evening.
 
Attendees can find the venue on Pattaya 2 Road in the heart of the Thai city, located within two kilometres of the Pattaya railway station and bus terminal.
