This year's Berlin Festival will include performances from Suede, Primal Scream and Public Enemy.

BERLIN, GERMANY, August 11, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Two legendary British bands feature in the line-up for the 2011 Berlin Festival, which takes place at the city's Tempelhof Airport next month.
 
Britpop heroes Suede are expected to deliver a set of their greatest hits after reforming in 2010, while Primal Scream will perform their iconic 1991 album Screamadelica in its entirety.
 
Other acts scheduled to play at the event on Friday September 9th and Saturday September 10th include Aloe Blacc, Mogwai, Wire, Beirut, James Blake, Boys Noize, Santigold and The Rapture.
 
Hip-hop fans also have plenty to look forward to, as legendary New York rap act Public Enemy were recently named among several late additions to the festival bill.
 
The line-up also features California's Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, one of the most controversial and critically acclaimed hip-hop collectives to emerge in recent years.
 
Meanwhile, dance music fans will be eagerly anticipating appearances from the likes of Diplo, A-Trak, Skrillex and DJ Hell.
 
The Tempelhof site ceased operating as an airport in 2008 and has since been used to host a variety of public events.
 
People heading to the German capital next month can expect a festival with a unique atmosphere and a reputation for eclectic sounds, with approximately 10,000 revellers attending the event each year.
 
Two-day tickets are available at EUR81.40 (GBP70.95), while admission for either the Friday or Saturday only is priced at EUR48.40.
 
Tempelhof can be reached from central Berlin by taking line U6 on the U-Bahn to Platz der Luftbrucke.
