The Low Anthem will bring their acclaimed indie folk sounds to Norwich on August 18th.

NORFOLK, ENGLAND, July 27, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- American folk-rockers The Low Anthem will play live at the Norwich Arts Centre next month.
 
The three-piece from Providence, Rhode Island are set to perform at the venue on Thursday August 18th as part of a full UK tour.
 
Fans of the group will no doubt be keen to hear tracks from their fourth studio album Smart Flesh, which was released on the Bella Union label earlier this year.
 
The LP, which was recorded in a disused pasta sauce factory near the band's home town, has ensured that the underground buzz surrounding The Low Anthem continues to grow.
 
Having self-released their first two albums, the group began to gain critical recognition in 2008 with their third LP Oh My God, Charlie Darwin.
 
Multi-instrumentalist and singer Mat Davidson, who joined the band in 2009, recently announced he had left the fold after a gig in Quebec.
 
Advance tickets to see the band perform in Norfolk are available online, priced at GBP15. Admission on the door will cost GBP17.50.
