The Film4 Summer Screen will show a wide range of new and old films from July 27th to August 7th.

LONDON, ENGLAND, July 05, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- London's Somerset House once again plays host to Film4 Summer Screen, which sees a range of films screened at an open air cinema over the course of 12 days.

Starting from July 27th with The Skin I Live In, the series will include cult movies such as Thelma & Louise, as well as double and triple-bill days when multiple motion pictures will be shown.

"It's more than just the movies: arrive early, come and picnic in the magnificent Somerset House courtyard while DJs play, or attend one of the fascinating companion events as part of Behind the Screen with BAFTA," noted the organisers in a statement.

The Skin I Live In is the latest title from iconic Spanish filmmaker Pedro Almodovar, the director of hits such as All About My Mother, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown and Talk to Her.

Standard admission is GBP14.50 plus booking fees, but this rises to GBP18 plus booking fees for the opening day and multiple-movie showcases.

DJs start at 19:30 BST and the films begin at 21:15.
